IHappy 90th anniversary on the occasion of his first flight of Mir Saifuddin Sadri, Diplom. Ing. Kapitan with German aircraft Yunker F. 13 in 1928! The plane was a kind of gift purchase from Field Marshal Paul von Hindenburg President of the Dom of Germany to reform King Amanullah Khan (1919-1929) in Kabul.

Das ausgestellte Exemplar der F 13 fe wird 1927/28 in Dessau gebaut und an den afghanischen König Aman Ullah verkauft. Noch während der ersten Erprobungsflüge bricht in Afghanistan eine Revolution aus. Die Königsfamilie flieht aus dem Land, und das Flugzeug bleibt auf dem Flugplatz in Kabul stehen. Er entdeckt 1968 den beschädigten Rumpf einer F 13 auf einem Schrottplatz. 1969 schenkt die afghanische Regierung das alte Junkers-Flugzeug dem Deutschen Museum. Die Restaurierung und den Nachbau der fehlenden Flügel und des Leitwerks übernimmt die Firma Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm.

Seit 1984 ist die F 13 in der neu eröffneten Luftfahrthalle des Deutschen Museums ausgestellt. Damit ist der Verlust der ersten F 13 des Deutschen Museums durch Bombenschaden im Jahr 1944 wieder behoben. Weltweit gibt es heute insgesamt noch vier F 13 in Museen.

Die ausgestellte F 13 fe (Deutsches Museum, Inv.Nr. 78042) erreicht mit dem von der "Junkers Motorenbau GmbH" hergestellten 6-Zylinder-Flugmotor Junkers L5 mit einer Dauerleistung von 205 kW (280 PS) eine Reisegeschwindigkeit von 170 km/h. Die Reichweite beträgt mit 2 Mann Besatzung und 4 Passagieren fast 1000 km.

Mir Seifuddin was said to have been born at the end of the 19th century in Kabul Old Town or in Kala ye Sheikhan as the fourth child and third son. His father was Mir Sadruddin and his grandfather Mir Sayed Aga.
